“Two-Part Juicers: The Strainer & The Pitcher”
April 2nd - 11am - 2pm MST

After teaching two previous juicer workshops, I decided to teach a class that focuses on the two-part juicer. The top piece is a reamer (or juicer) with a strainer for seeds, and the bottom piece is a small pitcher with a hand built spout. This is a very functional tool! Participants in this workshop will learn both juicer making techniques in addition to learning how to make a small creamer size pitcher. These techniques can be applied to larger pots. This three hour session will include an image presentation, demonstrations, and a question and answer segment. Demonstrations will include throwing, trimming and hand building. Hosted on the Zoom platform, the class will be geared toward observation. Participants are encouraged to go back and try the techniques in their home studio later. Participate during the scheduled time and/or learn from viewing the recording later.
