Pots that Pour: Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, and Vinegar - Online Workshop

In this online workshop, we will dive into the world of cruets. These small pouring pots, used to pour olive oil, vinegar and soy sauce, have endless possibilities without being as daunting as a teapot. We will work on various bottle forms for the body of the pot, in addition to thrown and darted spouts, and stopper lids. Demonstrations will include throwing, altering, darting spouts, assembling, and creating a lid with a cork. Our session will include an image presentation, and demonstrations. Hosted on the Zoom platform, the class will be geared toward observation with the option of going back and integrating the techniques later. The chat section will be used for questions. Participate during the scheduled time, and/or learn from viewing the recording later. Participants will be able to download a copy of the workshop recording through Google Drive to have for indefinite personal use.
