"Nesting: Pots Within Pots" Online Workshop
February 12th 11am - 2pm MST

In this online workshop, participants will learn how to make pots that nest. We will measure, throw, and trim several different shapes that fit inside one another. We will start with simple mixing bowls, and move on to more complex forms including batter bowls and pots with cut away handles. This three our session will include an image presentation, demonstrations, and a question and answer session. Demonstrations will include throwing small, medium, and large size bowls, measuring pots to make them fit inside one another, cutting away handles, and trimming. Hosted on the Zoom platform, the class will be geared toward observation. Participants are encouraged to go back and try the techniques in their home studio later. Participate during the scheduled time and/or learn from viewing the recording later.
